White- Joseph Grigely uses poetic taxonomy to articulate the way he experiences white. Through acute observation Joseph Grigely notices the intimacy of a twinkly. In the section titled Prepositional whites, both in the twinkly as an individualized and secretive object as well as suggesting that the consumer is the only one who experience the twinkly white organs. The scenarios that Joseph Grigely presents through his micro categories of whites opens a dialogue between the museum and metaphor and the power of words as symbol. I think whites by Joseph Grigely is an excellent example of the potential of conveying the expansiveness of taxonomy and addressing ideas gone unnoticed.

Fred Wilson also addresses the idea of poetic taxonomy thought the arrangement of found objects, building commentary and narrative in and around the museum function and presentation of truth.

The museum of Jurassic technology- having grown up in Los Angeles the museum of Jurassic technology is something that has always been in my conscience. Having not visited the museum till I was fifteen the objects inside the museum were unknown and unimaginable. However the museum as a myth was prevalent in my Angelenos culture. In looking back on this specific time period of knowing about the museum but not visited, the museum severed as a symbol of otherness and possibility, both challenging the authority and exhibition tactics in other established museums, in los Angeles. Enclosed and mysterious the museum of Jurassic technology is quiet comparatively other well-known museum in Los Angeles and requires an iteration of human intimacy to find out about its existence. The significance of feral institutions such as the museum of Jurassic technology in relation to established insinuations mirrors a large social dynamic of intimacy, exhibitionism, the unknown, truth and venerability. Placing emphasis on the building itself significance in side Los Angeles culture.
